
About NEIIA
NEIIA is an internationally recognised Swedish-born drummer, singer, songwriter, and music producer based in Australia, with a career spanning Europe and Australia. She has gained international recognition through televised performances as a drummer on Australian Idol (2024–2025), as well as national broadcasts including Sweden's Got Talent (2014, 2017) and Vem kan vad / Who Knows What (2021).
Her work has been featured in major international media including The Sydney Morning Herald, ZDF Auslandsjournal Germany, and Blabbermouth.net, reaching multi-million global audiences.
Her artistic excellence is reflected through several international achievements, including being a Semifinalist in the International Songwriting Competition (placing in the top 15% of over 13,000 submissions from 158 countries), a Top 10 Finalist in IDP’s Got Talent Australia (2023), and recipient of the Artistic Excellence Scholarship in Sweden (2021).
NEIIA is also an officially endorsed artist with Istanbul Agop Cymbals and has been featured by Vic Firth. She has performed at major venues across Europe and Australia, including Capitol Theatre, The Concourse, Avicii Arena, and Amager Bio.
Throughout her career, she has collaborated with internationally recognised artists and industry leaders, including Uli Jon Roth, platinum-certified producer Tobtok, and Australian conductor George Ellis.
As a recording artist and producer under the name NEIIA, she has released internationally distributed original music, including multiple singles and the EP Traveller (2025), showcasing her signature sound — blending modern pop melodies with 70s rock influences and live instruments. She is currently expanding her creative output with her upcoming album, featuring the new single What Would You Say, out now.
Beyond performance and recording, NEIIA is deeply committed to music education and community impact. She teaches drums to 30–40 students weekly and runs drum camps, sharing her professional expertise while inspiring the next generation of musicians.
